The "SusuMotor" is an easy-to-install
replacement for the type 'G' or "Pancake" motor of old Lima H0 scale engines.
Equipped with a suitable pinion gear (Lima; please let me know if you want the
Fleischmann one, it's different from Lima).

I was a bit sceptical about this conversion, I followed the directions and placed the converted Lima New South Wales Government Railways C38 on the test track rollers, hooked it up to the bench power supply and started the voltage from 0 and the motor started to turn at 1.4 volts (it was 7 volts with the Lima motor) and increased speed smoothly up to 12 volts. I run DCC and will set the high voltage to about 8. You have saved this iconic model from the display shelf to leading its pride and joy The Southern Aurora on my layout. Thanks a lot, N.N.
